Shell France dome construction part 3: Finishing the structure

The first week has brought us about halfway in the structural work to the dome. If we are lucky we should be able to get it closed this week.

On monday we lifted 2 cherry pickers in the tank through a section in the dome-structure that we bolted in stead of riveting it with out standard huck tools. We will use this bolted section lateron to get the cherrypickers out after the dome is lifted.

As you can see in the pictures even with the cherry pickers we were moving fast and the structure is completely closed in only 2 weeks!
