Shell France dome construction part 2: The first 3 rings

After unloading of the materials the actual dome construtcion can begin. In this case we are building the dome outside in. The advantage of this building metjod it that we are giving the dome its strength right from the start.

The first 3 rings will be built from the ground and after that we will be using cherry-pickers to make the rest of the framework.
Below you will find some pictures of the construction from ground level. This progress was made in only 3 days with 5 men.
