CTS completes a sucessfull 2006
When looking back at 2006 we are looking at a year CTS in which CTS supplied materials, or was
contracted under more than 100 individual customer orders, and on more than 130 storage
tanks, both in Europe as well as in other continents as Africa and the Middle-East.
The tank storage market has been facing a number of developments that generated a major
impact on companies servicing the terminal industry. Some of these developments are the
following:
| |
- requirements for low Sulphur diesel quality |
| |
- growing demand for bio-fuels |
| |
- increasing demand on safety as a result of the Buncefield fire |
| |
- introduction of new emission reduction standards by the European
Union such as the BREF document |
| |
-introdution of the new EN 14015on design and manufacture of
atmospheric storage tanks, that replaced the older BS 2654
|
| |
|
In 2006 the development of CTS extended beyond being a reliable supplier.
Following the above developments closedly and developping solutions especially taylored for these
new issues we developed into not only a reliable, but also a knowledgeable supplier addressing
these developments and solving the challenges, which are a result of them.
This has definitely contributed to our international growth. More
important than this international growth is ensuring the realisation of any project without incidents.
We are proud to announce that we have not
faced any lost time injury, or major incident in 2006 and would like to thank our personnel,
and contractor staff or customer personnel for this achievement. We aim for no less in 2007
We have further embedded our approach in the area of employee safety into the CTS company structure
by implementing a safety management system under the Dutch VCA requirements,
and have been awarded an official VCA** quality certificate by Lloyds Register.
CTS aims to continue its growth in 2007 by starting several new offices in Asia to further extend our network of offices.
Right now we already have have offices in South America (CTS Chile ) and the Middle East (CTS Middle East , Bahrain ).
