Large 84 meter aluminium dome lifted in Curacao
After a very short installation time CTS has sucessfully lifted the 84,4m diameter aluminium dome roof in in the PDVSA refinery in Curacao. The roof was built on the tank floor and lifted into place almost completely assembled.
The dome construction was compleded in less than 6 working weeks, with local contractor crews under full time supervision of CTS. The dome was lifted with our automatic lifting system. This CTS owned system allows us to lift domes up to 110 meter in diameter.
